The second week of Christmas break was a fun one for Ms. Adley. To keep Kendall in a routine and get some much needed errands done in peace (like going to my school and painting bulletin boards and new cell phone shopping), we sent Kendall to school a few hours each day. Plus, she got her naps in! Ha!
Is it normal to feel a little guilty to want to spend time with your other child? I could just tell that Adley knew this one-on-one time with her parents was special. We had fun too!
On this particular photo-documented day, we…
…ate breakfast at Waffle House. Yum!
… spent some gift cards at Bass Pro.
… and dined at Olive Garden. Yum-yum!
The head rest!
I don’t know what it is, but Chris seems so much more comfortable as a parent the second time around. Don’t get me wrong, he was a great parent to Kendall as a baby, but… I just feel like he is more attentive to baby Adley than he was with baby Kendall. Not is a favorite way, but in a “I know what to do now and they are only little once” kind of way. Whatever the case, these two have a special bond, just like Chris does with his big girl, Kendall.
