Hold You

Lately, I have been thinking about when we will start trying to have another baby. I have a few friends who are already pregnant with baby number two or who are seriously considering it very soon. And me? I'm just not there yet.

Some days I want to be pregnant and have a squishy baby. Kendall had a tea party with our dog Wilson the other day and Chris and I both agreed she needed a playmate. Ha! And she is so sweet with her baby dolls so of course she will be a wonderful big sister.

Outside of our family unit we have a lot going on and that does play a factor in adding to our family. I am working on my masters degree and that was a very hard decision. I was so worried about sacrificing my time with Kendall for school and I cannot imagine being in school while I'm pregnant or with two kids.

Then I start thinking about the timing of everything (because it always goes the way you want it to right?) and how far apart I want my kids to be in age. And I stress myself out.

So I have had a lot of mixed emotions about all of this. I guess I've come to the conclusion that  I need to do whats best for Kendall, our family and myself and that means to wait a little while before another baby.

Second, I don't think I'm ready yet. I think I will know when it's right. I don't want to get pregnant because my friends are and I want it to be right by Kendall. Kendall still needs me. Sunday when we were out she was being a clingy two year old and kept wanting me to, " Hold you" as she calls it and I thought to myself I'm not ready to share myself yet. She is still a baby (in some ways) and I want to treasure this time with her.
Not to mention, when we have another baby I want to treasure the time with my new baby too.

My mom always tells me that, "what you think about, you bring about", and I truly believe that! Because lately I have been running into moms that are on our same path. They are spacing their kids out or have a 4-5 age gap between kids. I think there is a reason I've crossed paths with them.

My Mommy Must Haves

I’ve only been a mommy for 6 weeks (tomorrow) and by no means consider myself an expert… however I wanted to share my opinions on my must have baby gear.

1. Chicco Cortina Travel System

I went back and fourth on purchasing this item and I’m so glad I did. The stroller is a Cadillac compared to other brands and the car seat is super easy to use! It is a little heavy and does not fit on the top of shopping carts but I can handle that small sacrifice.

Chicco Cortina Travel System Stroller - Discovery - Chicco - Babies"R"Us

2. Crib Soother

I couldn’t find a picture for the one I have but I’m sure it’s pretty similar to others available. Kendall will stop whatever she’s doing when this baby is on and watch it. She loves the music. Mommy finds it kind of relaxing too. Ha!

3. Pacifier

I was one of those pregnant girls that swore my daughter would not get a bottle or a pacifier during the first month of life because of nipple confusion or whatever. She has not had a bottle yet but a pacifier is a gift from GOD!

4. Gowns

Kendall wears a gown every night to bed and I love them because she thinks their comfy, they have the little things to cover hands and make 3am diaper changes easy!

Carter's Girls 2-Pack Gown - Pink (3 Months) - Carters - Babies"R"Us

I love many other items but these are my favorites so far!

Baby Shopping & Staycation

I have not blogged much this week since finding out we are having a GIRL and the reason being is... I'm addicted to buying things for Ms. Kendall Grace.

Bananafish Lily Bedding for her nursery
This cute dresser/changer combo! This cute 4-in-1 convertible crib! Clothes & things (picture would not stay straight!)

And Quaking Grass paint... which we love!
I basically have the whole nursery designed and planned out!!! It doesn't really have a theme - it's a bunch of greens, pinks and whites and all kinds of girly things!!!
I will wait until it's complete to reveal the final product!!!! Just to keep you in anticipation!!
I also cleaned up the car and posted it on craigslist today. We may set it out a few places this week and post it a few other places online. We have decided to try and sell it ourselves and then begin shopping for a cute SUV for me! Pray that is sells quickly!@!
Chris and I are celebrating our 2 year anniversary on Monday! We declined taking a trip this year and decided we'd rather have a "staycation" at home and get some things accomplished around the house! Here are our plans:
1) Paint nursery, assemble furniture for nursery
2) clean carpets
3) Stain & seal the deck
4) Pressure wash the siding on the house
5) Sell my car!
I'm sure Chris will play golf and I will shop more for Kendall too!
I leave you with this... I made these last weekend for a cookout and I really want some more! The perfect brownie pan makes them even better!!!
Yummy!

20 weeks Pregnant expecting a... ???

I know you have been in anticipation all weekend, right???

You're just dying to know the gender of our baby Ryan....

Well our 11 oz. baby was moving and shaking all through the ultrasound yesterday - everything looked great! The baby was laying in an odd position so we have to do another anatomy ultrasound at our 24 week appointment to get a few measurements they weren't able to get.

No complaining here I will get to see our precious little GIRL again!
We are thrilled about having a little girl. Or mini Shelli as my husband calls her. We are 90% sure her name will be Kendall Grace Ryan.
I must also mention I started feeling her little flutters Friday afternoon. She gives me little flutters a few times a day now. I'm so in love with this little girl already!!!

Fun Thursday Night & the Guessing Game!!

Can you believe it's Friday??? Never in my life have I wished the weekend away but I simply CANNOT wait until Monday morning people!! Why you ask? Because we find out if it's a boy or girl... or twins is what my mom is hoping for! Haha that would be something....
Yesterday after work my mom and I had a busy night!
We visited with my cousin Abby and her new baby TJ. He was so precious and Abby looked awesome for having a baby last week!!! I have never seen a week old baby kick so much as TJ!!

Had a yummy dinner at Red Lobster! This is one of my mom's favorite places and I just cannot resist those cheddar garlic biscuits and blackened tilapia!
Then we decided to visit Jacqueline while she was working at the mall. She works at a Maternity Store - it's so great to have connections! LOL Jacqueline gave me this book ( which I just tried for 20 minutes to find the title of...) referencing baby products and things. I can't wait to read it!

We stopped into JCPenny's on our way out of the mall... my hot momma bought the cutest brown and teal tankini with a brown coverup! She looked so good in it!!! I checked out the maternity section and bought 2 fallish type tops that were on clearance and this cute top!
How adorable is this? Aside from my plump face I don't even look prego from this angle!!!
Okay now let's get down to business... let's guess what this baby in my belly is... shall we?
According to the Chines Gender chart and the Mayan birth predictor - GIRL. The wedding ring test - GIRL. No morning sickness = BOY. Crazy teenage zits = GIRL. Flipped a coin = BOY.
For fun, here are some more Old Wives Tales about gender.... oh and I refuse to pee in Draino! LOL
It's a boy if:
You didn't experience morning sickness in early pregnancy
Your baby's heart rate is less than 140 beats per minute
You are carrying the extra weight out front
Your belly looks like a basketball
Your areolas have darkened considerably
You are carrying low
You are craving salty or sour foods
You are craving protein -- meats and cheese
Your feet are colder than they were before pregnancy
The hair on your legs has grown faster during pregnancy
Your hands are very dry
Your pillow faces north when you sleep
Dad-to-be is gaining weight, right along with you
Pregnancy has you looking better than ever
Your urine is bright yellow in color
Your nose is spreading
You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves in circles
You are having headaches ( I believe this to be a lack of caffeine!)
It's a girl if:
You had morning sickness early in pregnancy
Your baby's heart rate is at least 140 beats per minute
You are carrying the weight in your hips and rear
Your left breast is larger than your right breast
Your hair develops red highlights
You are carrying high
Your belly looks like a watermelon
You are craving sweets
You are craving fruit
You crave orange juice
You don't look quite as good as normal during pregnancy
You are moodier than usual during pregnancy
Your face breaks out more than usual
You refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread (LOL I don't eat this anyway!)
Your breasts have really blossomed!
Your pillow faces south when you sleep
Your urine is a dull yellow color
You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves from side to side
All old wive's tales seem to think girl....however MOST of the people I know think it's a boy. I thought at the beginning it was for sure a girl but now I'm on the fence... My husband thinks girl my dad thinks girl and my best friends think boy. My cousin's and siblings except Rebecca think boy and my grandma and grandpa Harrison think girl.
Before I sign off for the weekend.... please let me know your vote!!! Leave a comments with BOY or GIRL????

Pediatrician & Prayer Request

Yesterday I had a meet & greet with a pediatrician my friend Jacqueline referred me to. And I LOVED her!!!

Dr. D is an Internal Medicine/Pediatrician MD and her office is very convenient from my home. She is a registered Lactation consultant and is a huge breastfeeding advocate. She is behind alot of new things the hospital I will be delivering at - like skin to skin after birth etc... She gives her cell # out to her breastfeeding patients so they can call her at anytime with concerns.
I felt like she was so personable and exactly what I want for my child and myself. I'm so excited to be able to see her for the baby and for me! I'm going to set up a well check up for myself sometime in July or August to establish care and then she told me to make sure I call her the month before the baby is born to go over some guidelines I want to enforce at the hospital concerning breastfeeding. She has a 6 & 4 year old herself so I felt like she will be very understanding. Did I mention she went to medical school at my alma mater the University of Louisville? That's a sign right there!!! I'm so glad I found a great Doc!!!

Please keep my friend Jacqueline and her sweet baby Ethan in your prayers. He is 7 months old and has to go see a specialist about a cyst they found on his chest. Hopefully it's nothing out of the ordinary but I just pray for peace for Jacqueline & Jason until they find some answers!

Great Weekend & 18 weeks

Good Morning! I hope you had a relaxing weekend! I did! I can't remember Friday night... Saturday I spent a nice morning at home alone cleaning the house and catching up on some TV. A good friend that I've known since our Valley View youth group days came over and we talked for like 3 hours! I just love catching up! Later the husband and I went out to dinner and then his baseball team's senior night. I don't know if it's the pregnancy hormones or what but when they were reading off what the senior's had said about their parents I couldn't help but tear up!
I haven't even had my baby yet but I just can't imagine them graduating from high school!
Speaking of pregnancy... there is something called "prego brain" and I believe I have it. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago to meet with a pediatrician Friday at 3pm. I knew I had this appointment everyday last week and had it written down on all my calendars. Well... I did not reember this said appointment until Saturday! I feel so awful! I'm calling to see if I can reschedule this morning - I never forget stuff like this! Scary!
Anywho Sunday I started my cleaning routine I shared with you all. I woke up when Chris was leaving for work and went to the grocery. Then I came home and folded a MOUNTAIN of laundry. I seriously almost took a picture to show you guys but I was too embarassed!
I spent the rest of the day at my parent's which included a few hours lounging in the pool. I just love my maternity tankini. I feel like everything is covered! Ha! I plan on lounging in the pool quite a bit these hot summer weeks!
This week I don't have much going on except for my "new" cleaning schedule and marking some things off my to do list. We have family coming in for my cousin's wedding this weekend. They will stay at my parents so that's where I will be all weekend. I love when family comes in. All we do is eat and sit around and visit! Ha! Both my cousins are bringing their children so it will be a fun place to be!
I am 4.5 months/18 weeks pregnant today. My belly is getting bigger everyday it seems and I have yet to feel those flutters everyone has told me about! I'm still on team boy (even though I have thought it was a girl) because every person I know tells me I'm having a boy. Chris and I ran into some parent's of a guy he went to school with - the woman was like " let me see your fingernails". Then she said because they were hard I was having a boy. WHAT? Never heard that one before. LOL To me that makes no sense because 1) I've always had strong nails and 2) prenatal vitamins make my hair and nails grown like weeds!

Have a GREAT Monday!
P.S. 14 Days until we find out the sex of baby Ryan!

Mother's Day Weekend Recap & 16 Week Appointment

I had a wonderful weekend!!!! I also had a wonderful doctor's appointment this morning!
Friday - Chris cancelled practice so we went over to my parents. He helped my mom plant some flowers and we ate Mike Linning's fish. If you are not familiar with Louisville, KY it's like the best fried fish in the state. Yum!
Saturday - I ran some errands in the morning that included visiting my cousing Becca at her home and seeing her new hammock and then visiting Jacqueline at work and buying some new maternity tops!
Then Chris and I spent the day window shopping at some car dealerships and checking out some nursery furniture. We ate a big dinner out and rented a red box and had a lazy night. We were both asleep by 10 pm.
Sunday - I got up early to check grocery shopping off my to do list! Then I visited my beautiful Mom for Mother's Day! I brought her purple flowers because that's her favorite color. She got me a Mommy to Be card and a really sweet gift! My brother grilled steaks for us for a late lunch and I went shopping with Amanda for things to redecorate her room. I put together some shelves for her room and she found it so funny I was so handy. I may be a total blonde but I do work for a construction company and I know the difference between a phillips and a flathead screwdriver!
Later we visited Chris's mom and dad and brought her flowers too! We spent the evening watching an old True Blood episode and eating pizza rolls. Chris thinks we should eat pizza rolls everytime we watch True Blood and I could not agree more.

Last night I did not sleep well at all! In between my many potty breaks I just kept thinking about my Dr's appointment and the baby. My mind is consumed of baby these days!!!! I wonder why???
Our 16 week Doctor's Appointment went great. I just did the routine pee in a cup, blood pressure and step on the scale and then we waited for the doctor to come check the heartbeat. At first she couldn't find it and I was getting nervous but it turns out the baby is alot lower than i thought! The heartbeat is the most perfect sound. I can't believe there is this little baby growing inside of me with the most perfect heartbeat. I just cry thinking about it!!!! I love this little baby so much already!

The doctor asked us if she had guessed what the gender was last time and if we had any hunches about it. I said that I kind of thought it was a girl and that everyone else except my dad and becca think it's a boy! She guessed that it was a boy. I had always heard the heart rate was an old wive's tale. They claim that a woman's metabolic rate makes a girl baby's heart beat faster. Our heart rate was 145-150 and she thought there was some truth to it. Of course if this were the deciding factor there would be no reason for them to check on an ultrasound now, right??? I'm not holding my breath until I see some anatomy proof on June 7th when we have our BIG ultrasound.
But since the doctor said it I am now convinced it's a boy until proven other wise, lol!!! 28 days is too long to have to wait!!!!
Today is a HAPPY day! I love doctor appointments so much now!!

TV & Debt Talk

Happy Friday peeps!
Thursday was pretty uneventful. I went home from work, walked with Heather, washed the bed linens, folded laundry and caught up on DVR.
Speaking of TV - if you're not watching the following shows YOU NEED TO BE!
The Middle (ABC)
You have got to watch the Mother's Day episode! LOL
Modern Family
I have no clue how to get a youtube video posted on here. But this is one of my favorite clips from the show!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7pnGp2sr64

I don't know if I have mentioned this obsession before but I LOVE the show TRUE BLOOD.

It premieres June 13th and I might be just as excited about season 3 as I am finding out the sex of our baby. Okay not really!

This show is like a dark comedy with hot vampires.

I have read 4 out of the 8 books from the Sookie Stackhouse series. I never thought I'd like this kind of supernatural stuff but the storylines are so good between all the characters!

What are your favorite shows?

I also received this in the mail today FREE from a new mom program with my insurance. I chose a DVD because I thought Chris is more likely to watch a baby DVD versus read a baby book! Plus when I'm holding my little angel nursing or something or trying to calm the baby down at 3 am this might be something I can pop into the dvd player! Ha!

I'm taking Chris to go look at baby furniture this weekend. We will not purchase anything until we know what we're having but I think it's smart to kind of prepare financially for these kind of purchases!

Speaking of finances - I have this bill sheet I use every month. I keep record of all our debt balances (car loans, student loans, credit cards, furniture payments) monthly so I can see the progress we are making each month. According to my bill sheets since June 2009 we have paid off $11,582.59 in debt! Woohoo! Out of 7 credit accounts I have eliminated one student loan and two credit cards completly. On top of that the 4 remaining credit accounts (student loan, car loan, furniture, polaris) all have dramatically lower balances and will be paid off in 1 year because our balance on all of them is less than the debt we have paid off already! Woohoo!

I really would love to buy a more family friendly vehicle before the baby comes like these:

But now I'm thinking I should just wait until we have all these debts paid off. The thought of having 2 car payments right now makes me want to puke. I hate making car payments!
I mean it will stink taking a car seat in and out of my 2 door car that is PAID OFF! :) Seen here.
But it's only temporary, right?
Have a GREAT weekend!!!!!

Cinco de Mayo & Nursery Ideas

Happy Cinco de Mayo! If you celebrate this day - HAVE FUN!

So all I think about these days is anything and everything baby related...
I have started to imagine how I will do a nursery for our little son or daughter. I need to start saving my ideas on here for when we find out! I'm so anxious to get started planning the nursery. Well not that anxious considering our spare bedrooms are a MESS right now.
I figure I have a solid month before I will start on the nursery anyway so I have a whole month to get things organized.

I guess I will go a head and let you all know the top 2 names we like so that will make this easier! BoY: Grayson Van Ryan
GiRl: Kendall Grace Ryan
You like?????? I love them! :)

Here are my general feelings about the nursery for either gender.

  • I don't want a "theme" (matching decor, bedding rug etc of a disney character)
  • I want it to be a classy and timeless but still have all of the things boys and girls love
  • I want a regular dresser with a changing pad on top - it's more functional because they can use it when they are out of diapers plus we are limited in space to have both a dresser and a changing table
  • I will most likely go with a dark cherry finish or black espresso finish for the crib and dresser/changer ( I haven't ruled out white furniture if it's a girl!)
If our Baby is a Kendall:
I like very dainty and feminine color combos for a girls' nursery. I have envisioned painting the room a powder pink with a powder blue ceiling.
I love the idea of having a chandelier in the room. I would have a cute lamp to add additional lighting for late night feedings!
I'm still searching for the perfect girl bedding. I like white, pink, powder blue and light green for colors and I love the shabby chic bedding designs. Or this.
And of course every little girl's room needs a princess and castle wall mural!!!!

If our Baby is a Grayson:
I really like strong bold colors for a boy's nursery. I want to include all things little boy in this room - including baseball of course! I will probably paint the room a neutral beige color (like it already is!) and add an accent color wall.
I like this plaid bedding (or something similar). I think the colors are very masculine and could easily be matched with other blankets and stuffed animals. It also is plain enough to go with all the little boy things I want to include!!!!

I like these air plane decals because they are so cute and I could just imagine a little baby boy looking at them while playing in his crib. I might even pair them with a fun plan/truck/tractor type of mobile!!!
I love vintage baseball prints and I definitely will have one hanging somewhere in the nursery!
What do you think of my baby names and nursery ideas?????

Are my ideas too "grown up" for a baby?

Lazy Rainy Weekend & 15 weeks

I'd love to blog today about my fun event filled weekend but the truth is I was LAZY! Although I did have great company being lazy right along with me!

It has been a monsoon outside this weekend so the hubby, the dog and myself ventured to my parent's house since they were gone and hung out with my brother and sister all weekend.

We invited my grandparents over for a cookout Saturday evening and to watch the Derby race in the home theater. Then the four of us fell asleep watching a movie. Chris, wilson and I ended up just crashing at their house.

Yesterday I watched the cutest movie with Amanda! Since I'm prego these days I am super emotional. I can't tell you the last time I didn't cry during a movie!!! The part with the bug really got me if you know what I'm talking about???
I'm officially 15 weeks today! I'm just dying to feel the "fluttering" of the baby everyone talks about. When I go to the doctor next week I'm going to have her point out where my uterus is... I have no clue where I'm growing I just know my midsection is getting fat! I am praying they will do an ultrasound and tell us what we're having!!! I don't want to wait 4 more weeks - it's killing me not knowing!!!!!

It's a Wonderful Life!

Good Morning Sunshine! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
Saturday I had my massage - it was great!! I went ahead and made a hair appointment while I was there since pregnancy has made my hair thick and crazy!!

Then it was off to the ball field to watch the hubs coach his team to 2 victories!
Then we headed to my parents casa so Chris could open up their sprinkler system he installed last year for the season and I could hang with my mom and sister. My dad lit their fire pit that night and we all made smores. I love roasted marshmallows :) They are the best! Saturday was Thunder over Louisville. If you are not from around these parts - that's a HUGE firework and air show that kicks off the Kentucky Derby Festival. If you live under a rock the Derby is a big deal is horse racing and there are 2 weeks of events & parties leading up to it around here. We chose not to attend the fireworks show because 1) it's crowded 2) it takes like 5 thousand hours to get home in the traffice and 3) it's crowded. Yes, I'm an old fart. But none the less it's a cool event - it's the largest firework show display in North America - if you're into that.

Sunday I woke up and had the urge to clean the carpets in our bedroom. I swear it's going to take me 2 months to do all the carpets in the house. I was tired after doing 1 room! I caught up on some DVR shows and picked up my sister. I'm getting bigger in my belly region and I don't have tons of $$$ to drop on a maternity wardrobe and I heard Burlington Coat Factory had a maternity ssection. Honestly I did not find a whole lot of potential - some of the clothing was not my style. But we did manage to get 1 pair of maternity capri pants ($12.99) and 3 maternity tees ($7.99 each - 2 of which I may take back). A good start I think!
I plan on boxing up alot of clothing some time this week. Most of my spring/summer clothes will not be fitting me this year and some just need to be tossed. It will free up more space in my closet too.

Yesterday after work my mom and I visited a relative of ours who is 35 weeks prego. She was so miserable! She looked great and is so excited for her little boy to come - it's just getting very uncomfortable for her at this stage. We brought her gifts since we were unable to attend her baby shower. She will make a great mom!

Now Pregnancy talk! I feel like this is all I talk about but honestly it's all I think about too. I'm 13 weeks pregnant as of yesterday. This is officially my last week in the first trimester. I hope I stop feeling so exhausted and even though I feel really fat I'm anxious to have a baby bump. :)
We are one week closer to finding out what our little baby is and that will be a huge milestone in the pregnancy.

Realizations

Hello Friends! I hope you have big plans for the weekend or have relaxing plans like I do!

That's all I seem to do these days - relax - I blame it on being pregnant and I'm NOT complaining.

I have a massage scheduled in the morning that I'm super excited about! It was a Christmas present that I've yet to cash in. I thought I'd better do that before my belly gets too big and I can't lay on it!
I sat on my back deck with my friend Heather last night drinking lemonade (she was locked out of her house) and it got me so excited for summer! I just love using our deck and grill and drinking lemonade! MMMmmm!
The only down side to summer is lack of television. Most of my shows (except True Blood which premieres June 13) will be off during the summer. I don't know if I can handle not watching Modern Family, The Middle, The Office, etc. etc. I'm going to have to get my lazy butt off the couch I guess.
My sister got her drivers permit on Wednesday and my dad said she will go back for her drivers test in 6 months in October. Then it hit me - I'M GOING TO HAVE A BABY IN 6 MONTHS. That is and isn't a lot of time. Ahhhhhh!
I know it we will get a lot accomplished when we find out if it's a boy or girl but I was thinking we all this time to catch up on some financial things. You know.. paying a few things off, saving some more money, taking a vacay (which may be way out of the picture) and buying a new car (which also may be out of the picture and have to wait until 2011!)... time sure does fly when you are lounging on the couch. I am 3 months pregnant and my to do list is getting very long...
But I love it and I wouldn't trade a bit of in for anything different!

Plus life is never going to be perfect and nothing ever turns out the way you want it to financially etc... but that's what makes life great. You live and learn and realize what's important. Will Chris and I get to take a vacation again once the baby is here if we don't take one now? YES. Will I get the family sized mini suv I want and it won't hurt my baby that I drive a 2 door car that's paid in full? YES. I don't have to accomplish everything in 6 months before the baby comes - sure it will be a tad more complicated come October but everything will always work out! :)

12 Week Appointment

Greetings friends! I'm on top of the world this week. We had our 12 week baby appointment and everything was perfect! We heard a strong heartbeat of 150bpm and got to see our little baby again on ultrasound! It was wondeful! Here is the full baby shot! The tech kept trying to get the baby to turn over but it wouldn't! That would be my child - being stubborn!!!
What a miracle a baby is! We got a great picture of the baby's cute legs and one of the baby holding it's hands together! I just love this baby so much already!!!

Weekend & 10 Weeks

It's Monday ya'll! I hope everyone is having a great morning. My weekend was awesome. I had Career Conference in Lexington Friday Night & Saturday during the day. It was an awesome time of training, inspiration and fellowship with other MK ladies and my team members.
Saturday night I was pooped by the time I got home. We ordered pizza and watched the UK/West Virginia Game. I've mentioned this before but I'm married to a UK fanatic. He was pretty depressed after they lost - sore loser!
Yesterday after 2 weeks of having my clothing bins sitting in the bedroom I switched out all my fall/winter clothes for my spring/summer clothes. By the time I get to wear most of the summer clothes they probably won't fit anymore. Is it bad that I'm already looking forward to Summer 2011. I mean after this baby comes I'm going to be very disciplined and get skinnier than I am now! Here is my 10 week stats:

Nashville Sibling Trip & 9 Weeks

This weekend was so nice! I feel so rejuvenated today! Here are the highlights from our trip!
1. I love going places with my brother and sister. They are too much fun!
2. The Opryland hotel is really nice and fun! There is a lot to do there - reminds me of a Vegas casino minus the gambling.
3. Room Service = ribeye = yummy!
4. Don't go to the Country Music Wax Museum. There was not an artist that's been on the charts in the last 20 years present at this creepy wax museum.

5. Do get a hair cut like my sister did. She is so cute!
5. Lounge in the hotel as much as possible!
6. Sister Pictures

7. Opry Mills was fun - wish we could've spent more time there. Amanda made a Build a bear for the baby and I bought some maternity clothes at the Motherhood OUTLET!!!

8. Don't wear flip flops when it rains. I made the mistake of venturing out yesterday in flip flops. I was too exhausted to trek the mile back to our hotel room from the parking lot to change into tennis shoes.
9. Zombieland was a funny movie that I would never have watched with anyone else but my brother and sister.
10. Black lounging pants are the best outfit for a relaxing (pregnant woman ) weekend!
